Paintbrushes are an essential part of The Art Lounge Studio and your studio as well. No matter how hard we try to keep our brushes clean, and try and keep paint from drying up on the brushes, life happens. Here is a little trick to help you save $$$ and your precious brushes.
Keep a bottle of Murphys Oil Soap on hand and an old Jar (Ihate throwing things away) If you happen to let Gel Medium or Acrylic Paint dry on your brushes an it is as hard as a rock....this is a life saver!
Put your brushes in to your jar and pour enough Murphy's Oil Soap to cover the bristles, let soak for 24 hours. Rinse ....and your brushes will be good as new!
